Dogwood Mountain Homes Ltd. was formally established in 1983 with Murray Briggs and Waide Stennes at the helm. Having worked extensively for other companies, both Murray and Waide were keen to apply their knowledge and passion to building quality custom homes for the discerning buyer. Pairing their trades provides a unique equation for success – Murray is an expert in framing and project coordination and Waide is a master finishing carpenter – both craftsmen are hands-on with each project literally from start to finish. No matter what the task, Murray and Waide’s passion for quality translates into outstanding results for their clients – so much so that business has consistently grown over twenty years by word of mouth alone. They set the standard for excellence at Dogwood, leading by example, and attracting only the best tradesmen to assist in each custom build. Murray Briggs
An honest approachable guy with a passion for his trade, Murray has earned his success in construction through dedication and hard work. He has a strong appreciation for quality workmanship and derives a huge sense of pride in building beautiful custom homes. When he isn’t on site overseeing another quality job, Murray enjoys spending time with his family as well as exercising, golfing, fishing and mountain biking.
Waide Stennes
Waide, a certified Journeyman Carpenter, takes a hands-on approach to success. A hardworking, dependable perfectionist with decades of experience, Waide is active in every custom home build from beginning to end and is especially proud of the quality finishing work that sets Dogwood Mountain Homes apart from the rest. Waide is married with 2 kids and enjoys camping, hunting and fishing.
Brian Davis
One of Dogwood Mountain Homes Ltd. biggest assets would be our Job Foreman "Brian Davis". Brian won "Gold" in the 15th anual B.C. skills competition in Abbotsford, B.C., in 2009. He then travelled to Prince Edward Island to compete in the National Carpentry Championship, along with a dozen other contestants. Brian won this Championship. Brian brings his accomplished skills to our Job Sites every day with avid enthusiasm. He truly is a Canadian Champion of Carpentry and Dogwood Mountain Homes Ltd. is very proud to have Brian as an important part of our crew.
